Psychology 101 Blog

About

A magazine blog, not a course portal

An introductory course on human behavior — why people think, feel, and act the way they do. Grounded in the Psychology 101 knowledge base (lectures, study guides, and chapter materials). Students learn core concepts, research methods, learning, memory, social influence, and mental health foundations.

Psychology 101 Blog follows the same pattern as The Garden Journal: one essay, one issue, cover on the shelf. Open an issue, read the essay, then check Field sources if you want the original lecture or chapter file.

It is not an LMS. There is no syllabus dashboard, library of material types, lectures browser, or slide gallery as primary chrome. The home page is a masthead, a featured cover, and the run of issues.

Where the writing comes from

Each issue is assembled from Knowledge Base #59 (lectures, UVU chapter decks, study notes) and sequenced with the topic list from plan #170. Text is cleaned from classroom files for on-page reading; originals stay downloadable under Field sources.

How to read

  • Start on the home cover
  • Browse All issues
  • Read one topic end to end (No. 01–No. 16)
  • Use Field sources when you want the deck or study sheet
